¶ Owe no debts but love and the gospel. The Holy-Spirit-inspired Paul said it in Romans 13.8 and Romans 1.14-16. See also 1Corinthians 9.16.
¶ All is set for our small meeting of men on Saturday. By suggestion it was changed to the morning. Reservation of the meeting room has been made. There’ll be five of us.
¶ Somebody not far away (house behind us?) is having a party with music that can be heard in China. Very unusual for our neighborhood. Hope it’s not the start of something. (Houses here are fairly close to one another.)
¶ A quote: “Your body is a gift - even on the days when it doesn't feel like it. Every breath you take without thinking, every movement you make, every system working behind the scenes to keep you alive? That's worth thanking God for, even when health feels fragile or challenging.”
¶ An original verse: What wonder when the Sovereign waves his hand / To make things happen as all along he'd planned!
¶ A Bible verse, for the Final Word: “The Lord is both kind and fair; that is why he teaches sinners the right way to live” Psalm 25.8 NETB.
