Love and win-lose language

When somebody wins, it means somebody else loses, most of the time.

The win-win scenario uses competitive language to describe a satisfactory relationship outcome. That's all right, but it mixes up things.

Relationship is actually about love, in whatever form it may take. Love for one's fellow human being. Love for a family member. Love for one's enemy.

Nowadays it's almost wrong, or actually has become wrong, to talk about love in most relationships. It might get you fired. Or arrested.

Because love has become perverted. Love is no longer love. It's selfish desire. It's another form of politics and domination.

Leo Buscaglia's book Love couldn't be published today.

We are worse for the changes.

I chose to make changes for the better.

I love you.
