We had a new faucet installed recently at the side of the house -- things just don’t last long these days -- and the installer forgot to turn the water back on at the street. Pressure kept decreasing since then. So I went and flipped the switch and -- poof! -- a full measure of water now blesses the house.
Our relationship with God might be compared to this. You take it from there.
¶ There is much to be said for, and gained by, sticking with a thing once you’ve decided on it. The figure is old and worthy of understanding: don’t change horses in the middle of the stream.
¶ I moved my office to home in 2018, after renting the same space for 18 years. It was a good move, and sensible. Lately, though, I’ve felt the need to get out more.
¶ Yesterday I requested an estimate from the printer I usually hire, for a booklet, periodical, actually, to use as a first contact. I’ve started focusing a lot of my work for local use, until the Association defines the logistics for all our books. The booklet will have some 24 pages and be published twice yearly.
