Brazilian Zeal Missions, or BZeal, the moniker I give to our ministry here in Brazil. Zeal, because of John 2:17.
Our family has lived and worked in Brazil since 1984. Our principle efforts include church planting, evangelism, leadership training, preaching, teaching, writing and publishing.
We are currently replacing the major part of our mission support, which we are losing in the near future. For more information, see this page.
You can sign up to get news reports and work newsletters by email by sending a quick and easy subscription request to the “Brazil” list. The email list archives are here.
The online work reports are contained on this site, under the Work archive.
In coming days, I’ll be adding some documents to the site, such as the 7 Pillars of our ministry.
As of 2010 Jan 1, our new overseeing church is Somers Avenue in North Little Rock, Ark. Inquiries about our work or support may be directed to them at: 4801 Somers Avenue, North Little Rock, AR 72116. Telefone: (501) 758-5256. Email will be forwarded to Jim Akins, elder of missions.
Supporting churches are Iuka, Miss.; Baker Heights, Abilene, Tex.; Eureka, Ill., Lemalsamac, Newbern, Tenn.; Acton, Michie, Tenn.; Mountain Home, Paragould, Ark.

Old Stuff I’m Rearranging …
Below are some reports from ages past.
Below are some teaching and speaking commitments I have so far for 2008:
- March 15-17 – Prazeres congregation, Recife – Total Transformation seminar.
- May 1-3 – May Missionary Retreat – Maywood Christian Camp, Hamilton, Ala.
- June 21 – EmCris, a one-day Christian workers event – Jardim das Flores congregation, Sao Paulo.
I once sent out news with the abbreviation BZNS, Brazilian Zeal News Service, since I often included reports of what happened across the country. The reports still continue, both mine and others. Mine in this space. Others, mostly in BNc.
The BZNS, I think, has always been mixed in with my own reports. I used the Yahoo brazilnews list from Feb. 1999 to Sept. 2002, at which date I created the Brazil list at associate.com. That list continues to be used for news and archives can be consulted on both lists.
