Today’s tally

  • A strong downpour this late afternoon brought sleet and leaks in the office. Fortunately, no books or papers got wet. Much of the city was without power for several hours. Our electricity returned at the house around 9 p.m. Strangely enough, the office did not lose power.
  • Vicki traded money today in the e-bank for the lowest ever, R$1,67 to US$1.
  • The first ladies’ meeting in the Taubaté church had 13 ladies present, with 3-5 kids. Four from SJCampos: Vicki, Leila, Elida, Socorro; two from Tautabé: Claudete and Rose; seven, yes, seven, non-Christian visitors.
  • Vicki got caught on the Via Dutra in the rain on their return from Taubaté.
  • I’m doing an online Bible study with a gentleman in the U.S.
  • I chimed in on a discussion list about the meaning of the word “spirit” in a text. To be added shortly. Now added.
  • There was more, but at this late hour, I don’t remember.
