Three vegetarian options

Vicki, Leila, and three other ladies from church left early this morning for a women’s retreat, in our car. I’m batching it until tomorrow night.

I went to another vegetarian restaurant today, another discovery, the third such establishment in town. Better yet, it’s a five-minute walk from the Snuggery.

It’s smaller, but has nicer decor than the other two. Run, I’m told, by Adventists. Lunch cost R$4.32, or about US$1.90, including juice and dessert. Better deal than either of the others, I think, since the dessert is included. They have vegetarian pizzas, also. I ate a corn pizza, quite tasty.

The second one we “discovered” was Japanese vegetarian, and quite good as well. The first one, that I’ve been going to for some time, I think is also owned by Adventists. Leila likes it best, for their shishkabobs.

We’ll see how well she likes this newest one.

  1. For better or for worse, modeling faintly after King Agrippa, “Do you think that in such a short time you can persuade me to be a … vegetarian?” đŸ˜‰

What do you think?
