God keeps his promises. All of them. He is faithful. He has never failed to carry through, he never fails in the present, and in the future he will do all he has promised. To receive the promise of salvation, we must do his will. He wants to keep that promise, but it depends on us! Praise be to God for being a promise-keeper!
God stands steadfast when man turns his back. Jesus does not abandon his mission when disciples walk away. The faithfulness of the Lord in the face of man’s rebellion, his patience with human stubbornness, his unfailing love toward all, incite us to praise and honor him. To God be the glory!
Glory to God who took the initiative to save us in Christ while we were yet sinners, while we were far away and helpless, still professing ourselves enemies. Praise him whose love broke down the barrier that we erected against him! Blessed be the Lord who did not waver in his eternal plan to redeem us. What took man but a minute to destroy, he took millennia to restore! O Lord, we adore you!
There is no other God but the Lord! He forgives and transforms. He has mercy upon the fallen. He conquers our evil deeds. He hurls our sins into the depths of the sea. He is loyal to his chosen. Blessed be the God of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
Blessed be the God of all grace, who daily delivers us from unseen dangers and lurking evil! Let us praise the name of the Lord, who reveals himself each morning as the God of faithfulness! God upon our lips, God within our heart, God before us and behind us, God within us and above us! Glory to our heavenly Father!
