Jesus knows better than I do. I have my ideas and think that one should act in a certain way. But the Lord goes forward with the Father’s will.

John tried to prevent Jesus from being baptized by him, but when the Lord insisted, he gave up his idea and accepted what Jesus wanted him to do.
May I do like John.
When a friend rejoices, the worldly person is envious of the reason for the joy. When there is sadness, the worldly person moves away, unable to deal with the pain. In Christ, however, there is solidarity.
Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep.

Two of my children were invited for tests at a modeling agency. But I’ve never been invited. (The kids take after their mother.) To some places some of us will never be invited to enter. But with God it works differently: the door opens for the obedient:

and are faithful to my covenant,
