The following is a translation of an article excerpt in the first issue of our Sunday bulletin, in our new work this year. It was written by running the concordance (a very fine exercise that can be recommended to all):
The gospel must be heard, received, believed, obeyed, served, and defended. We ought to work and suffer for it. The gospel must be proclaimed, preached, taught, and given. We must conform to the gospel, for, according to it, on the last day God will judge the secrets of all men.
We ought to endure everything so that we may not be a hindrance to the gospel of Christ. We must do everything for the gospel. We must cooperate so that the gospel may be spread.
Some reject the gospel, to their eternal perdition. Others twist it to create another gospel, which is no gospel at all. Continue reading
