Where the whole human race finds shelter

The mother’s lap can’t receive all her children at once, if there are many. The father’s attention is divided among his children when he arrives home, unable to listen to them all at once. But God’s goodness and love have a place for everyone, equally.

How precious is your loyal love, O God!
The human race finds shelter under your wings.
Psalm 36.7 NET

Although God cares both for animals and people, verse 6, his special attention focuses on the righteous, verse 8-9. The Lord has a special love for his people, John 14.21-23.

There is room for everyone underneath his benevolent protection. In God’s house, all people find a place.

In order to be received in God’s family, we need only seek his protection.
