Carnaval comes next week, promising pleasures of the flesh, and plenty of that there will be among people who follow their carnal desires. And then it will be over. Some will pursue more pleasures beyond that special celebration. But it’s a never-ending pursuit, a life-long frustration punctuated by a few moments of pleasure here and there.

You lead me in the path of life;
I experience absolute joy in your presence;
you always give me sheer delight.
Psalm 16.11 NET

No greater contrast exists than the life with God.

Delight is present in the morning, during the day, when night arrives, for you, O Lord, are ever with me.

Hold this thought: God brings joy for every moment, in every place.

What do you think?
