My main venue for poetry has been the Cloudburst Syndicated Poetry list and site, which I have now blended with my personal site, in this category section.

UPLift often features poetry as well, along with quotes and thoughts of import. All that material is sent to the email list and placed online.

Besides that, I do some varied verse on sites and lists, and even for personal friends, and wind up posting it here as well.

To date, the Cloudburst poems are sent only by email and not put online, in order not to be considered as published. I sometimes put up an explanation of background as to what led to the writing of the poem, but not the text. To get Cloudburst poems, one must sign up by email.

I used to publish Head in the Clouds literary and poetry magazine, but as a formal effort that went by the wayside. If someone, however, wants to submit a poem or essay, I’ll consider publishing it here under our Literature category, as I have done with Margaret Been‘s artwork and essay.
