Man doesn’t live by bread alone,
He lives by rush and dash,
By tweets and tablets, ear to the phone,
By credit card, not cash.
Man lives by face in virtual book,
By moving gifs and text,
By snaps and pics, and Pinterest cook,
And wonders why he’s vexed.
Man lives today for posts from friends,
For comments, likes, and blogs,
But like the dead of olden trends,
He goes with them to the dogs.
