Here’s my take on the economic crisis — and the solution, in poetic form. (Poetic justice?)
A Layman’s Take on Finances
by J. Randal Matheny
By law the banks must lend
To risky property owners.
Rather than lenders be,
they’re seen and used as donors.
The government now insists
We all become blood donors.
The fix is not more law,
But less — a market more free.
Let people set the prices;
Let churches give charity.
The problem is not greed,
but force-fed charity.
I agree with your observations and love the rhyme!
