In its entirety, here’s today’s UPLift poem, a five-line stanza of man’s inner drive.
Popped this out while waiting on the car, oil-change and light revision time.
by J. Randal Matheny
Beyond his water and bread man goes
In search of better life, and more:
The source from where the river flows,
The faintest call of a distant shore,
The secrets of the world to explore,
A deeper thought than what he knows.
So comes the question: what do you seek? (Sounds familiar: John 1:38.)
