At Pine Knott church

I had a photo of The Missus, but she wouldn’t let me include it.

The Pine Knott congregation is one of the oldest congregations in Arkansas, with claims to being the oldest west of the Mississippi River. My sister Rita attends there. Tonight Arvel Hill reported on the work of the Paragould Children’s Homes. I missed getting his photo. Afterwards, we enjoyed a potluck meal together.

  1. Not the oldest west of the Mississippi. Noland and Birdell in Randolph County, AR can both trace their origins back to 1806. Pine Knott was established in 1841.
