In our carport we have a wooden trellis sitting on the wall where five orchid plants hang. Most don’t seem to like it there, but one plant, a gift from close friends for the Missus’s birthday, is a perennial bloomer, with a long stem of a dozen or so pinkish (OK, so I’m a male, no sense of color) blooms.
Here are photos of the plant, sitting on our dining room table, before we set it outside. (I’m not a good photographer.)
The plant keeps the blooms for weeks on end. It makes me sad to see them fall.
