I’ve been on the move lately. Arrived in the U.S. Sept. 16, was in Lewisville TX through the 21st, drove up to Paragould that day. Drove to N. Little Rock the 26th, met with the elders the 27th, returned to Paragould via Morrilton and Vilonia yesterday.
The meeting in Lewisville with the missions committee was very good, had a chance to visit with Jeff Jenkins the minister, meet elders and other good folks. Spoke the 23rd at Liberty church near Paragould, where my sister and my cousin and her husband attend. Then to Somers Avenue for an elders meeting this past Sunday to get the sponsorship into action.
That was a great meeting also, we’re getting things set up for the transition by year’s end, but hope to have things in place by then.
I go tomorrow to Alabama, to speak to another missions committee. This one fell in my lap, so to speak, thanks to one person talking to another. They got in touch with me and asked me to come meet with them. So the Lord is making it happen. Which brings me back to my special verse for this trip, that I read during one of my daily readings from the NET Bible:
“The God who loves me will help me” (Psa. 59:11a).
