Military draft fits socialist authoritarianism

Will Obama give us the military draft? It fits the socialist approach.

Obama hinted at a military draft when he said that “it’s also important that a president speaks to military service as an obligation not just of some, but of many. … I think it’s important for the president to say, this is an important obligation. If we are going into war, then all of us go, not just some.”

Biden may have been referring to a military draft Sunday in his remarks. Though nobody, even Biden himself, knows what he’s really saying.

The draft fits well with socialism: the government tells you what to do, how much of your money it will spread around, what you can (and cannot) say, if you can work as a plumber or electrician, how much air your tires must hold, what the temperature of your home must be.

Before long, it will tell us how much air we can breathe or how many pieces of toilet paper we should use per bathroom trip.

Oops, the latter has already been suggested, hasn’t it?

  1. Having spent the better part of 30 years in the military. I have no opposition to serving the country that has served me so well my entire life time.
While I would would not like to see the draft brought back, I certainly not like to see our country in a situation where the lack of man power would prevent us from being about to protect our selves and our interests around the world.

Biden thought he knew what he was talking about once, but turns out he was quoting someone else and quickly forgot the source of his short lived knowledge!

  2. should have proofed my comment…sorry
