McDonald’s fries and processed foods

I’ve not read the book Fast-food Nation, but I think I need to after reading this online excerpt.

Eric Schlosser’s Why McDonald’s Fries Taste So Good is a behind-the-scenes look at the flavor industry.

He’s not vitrolic nor shrill, at least, in the excerpt. Hard to know what he says in the conclusion, about where to go, what to do.

Me, reading it sends me back rushing to my fresh fruits and vegetables.
