Lows and highs for Wed. night

#1. This little couplet has been hanging around for a few days, with nowhere to go. It decided to slip in here tonight, under the radar:

Why give the credit to the muse,
When ’tis the gifts of God we use?

#2. Usually, low emotional days are low for productivity. Today was an exception. That’s good. How about you?

#3. In spite of a rumbly stomach this afternoon, Y.T. was pleased that tonight’s group produced some good dynamics, with great participation. Hard not to have good dynamics when you read part of the sermon on the mount.

#4. Tomorrow ought to be a bit of a day off, but going by previous Thursdays, don’t bet on it. But maybe I’ll sleep late, until 7 am, at least. I can make it until 6.30 am for sure.

#5. Tomorrow night we will go to Jacareí for the new group start-up to encourage and show support. Excited about this. We pray God will use it mightily.

#6. Last one before closing the eyes: A surprise comment from someone I never expected encouraged me. It’s been hours, but I’m savoring it still. In his providence, God ministers to the needy heart.

#7. Not mine but his: “In Christ we too have been claimed as God’s own possession, since we were predestined according to the one purpose of him who accomplishes all things according to the counsel of his will” Eph 1.11.
