Glory for simple

God is simple. A child can know him, but the wisest are confounded by his counsel.

God is able. None can stand against his power, but the lowest can know his might.

God is light. Darkness flees at his presence, and man is blinded by his effulgence.

God is love. He is ever willing to save, and his desire to to draw everyone to himself.

Praise God for who HE-IS.

  1. I don’t understand why some brethren don’t capitalize God (He) ….He deserves the few minutes it takes to do that! I love this poem though

  2. REALLY? I know most of our congregation would. The Bible does….and it makes it very clear who is talking……please reconsider….

    1. Let’s go to the source: Neither the Hebrew nor Greek languages did. They couldn’t. And God chose those languages to express his truth. In English, it depends on the Bible version. In fact, most Bible versions do not capitalize pronouns when referring to God.

In any case, Pebble, I appreciate your kind spirit about this. Thank you for reading.

  3. Thank you for taking the time to answer me.I learn something new everyday 🙂 But I still think it makes sense, to know and make sure who’s talking. Again, thank you for replying.

What do you think?
