Cloudburst Poem: Who Cares?

Ever feel alone, unappreciated, neglected, and ask, does anybody out there really care?

Sure you have. Me, too. Here I was in the first hours of the new year — I was up early this morning — when that question starting flitting around my head like an annoying mosquito.

Well, I decided to swat it rather than merely wave it away.

And wrote today’s first poem, this morning, of the new year.

More on Cloudburst Poetry here, for those coming from the web. And I’ll be happy to send you today’s poem by email, if you ask, below, and say pretty please.

UPDATE: I was reminded that friend Tim wrote along similar lines recently in his article, “No One Left Out.”

J. Randal Matheny

Be pithy.

  1. Melody, thanks so much. One could offer no better prayer for a writer.

What do you think?
