In the same way, also, people today don’t understand the seriousness of sin nor the price necessary for redemption.

There’s nothing more serious than transgressing God’s law and thus rebelling against him. In its essence sin is worse than killing another person, for the price of redemption is death.

How great is God’s love for us, to the point of sending his Son to die in our place!
