Paul made converts and worked for real community. "Every day I feel the pressure of my concern for all the congregations" 2Co 11.28 PEB

Paul was not one to preach, make converts, and let the chips fall where they may. He did not believe for a minute that one could relate to Christ and God and not belong to the royal family. For him the church was at the center of God’s plan and the heart of redemption, Tt 2.14. So he was always concerned with how the churches were faring, Ac 15.36. His visits and letters make it clear that the new and vibrant communities of Christ followers were a primary focus of his efforts.
