Oh, holy Monday, come to me,
From worlds of waste to time redeemed!
Of you the slackers seek to be free,
First day of labor ill esteemed;
In you, renewed solemnity
To realize the dreams I’ve dreamed.

I’ve written about Mondays before. But perhaps I’ve never put any Monday thought in a poem. How do you feel about Mondays?

So, you are not like the Carpenters for whom rainy days and Mondays got them down? :-)
You are right, Mondays give us a new day and a new week to begin to do things for the Lord.
