Give me this mountain, I with sword in hand,
Give me this hill, for my inherited land;
Give me these slopes, this rocky crag on high,
Give me this mountain, ere I die.
This popped in my head on my way home from the mall, after eating a small bite for the evening.
The reference, of course, is to Caleb. OK, so it’s KJV language. I grew up on it, and it still comes to mind at times.
I have a vague tune in mind for it, hence the change to four feet in the last line.
May this be your prayer as you meet the high challenges of life!

When I did a series on Bible mountains Caleb and Hebron was included. Great moment of history with great lessons!

Tremendous faith, all through his life. May his tribe increase!
