Do the brethren have giving fatigue?

A news article about donor fatigue among Americans may suggest a worrisome parallel among churches.

The numbers are almost too large to fathom, so many Americans stop trying. As bodies pile up in disaster after global disaster, even the most sympathetic souls can turn away.

I’m exploring this with some people I know, for a possible article in BNc, especially as it concerns the China earthquake and Mynamar cyclone. If you have some information or leads, please drop me a line.

But as society goes, so goes, unfortunately, the church.

So we need to ask, are we becoming weary in well-doing?
