Poem: Losing War
Much is made of the military language these days, in light of Iraq and Afghanistan, so I’ll use it too.
“Losing War”
A man’s carnal desire
Is a raging, spreading fire
That none can satisfy;
Always wanting more,
It fights a losing war
Between demand and supply.
