President Bush Proclaims Loyalty Day
On Tuesday President Bush declared May 1st as Loyalty Day, according to a bill passed by Congress.
I’ve not accompanied the push behind the day. His proclamation was made the 22nd, but as an out-of-date expatriate, I’m not familiar with why this day was set aside.
Is it a sop from those who supposedly support the troops, but not the war? As if that were possible …
Is it a stick in the eye for the above crowd?
So somebody tell me about this Loyalty Day.
