Poem: While Men Slept

The Cloudburst poem with the above title, sent today by email through the list, was inspired by an article.

It was Mike Riley’s “While Men Slept,” which forcefully reminds us of the need for watchfulness.

We are not only sleeping, but allowing ourselves to be lulled to sleep.

It is our watch and the kingdom is being ransacked.
