Election Limerick

On my day off today (I know, it’s weird), a little election fun.

I’m as apolitical as they come, just about, but I do care how elected officials represent especially the moral issues. Fiscally, I’m conservative, both at home (no debts, credit cards under lock and key) and in politics — I want the government out of my pocket.

So as a conservative, I feel robbed of a viable option in the election for president. Again, if I vote, it will be for the lesser of evils.

Obama’s too far to the left,
And Hillary of memory’s bereft,
   Then big-mouth McCain
   Earned right-wing disdain –
I’m sensing election day theft.
