New synod on Scripture

“Benedict XVI has convoked a world Synod of Bishops for 2008 dedicated to sacred Scripture and its relationship to the activity of the Church.”

Wouldn’t it be a wonderful thing if they discovered the all-sufficiency of the Word and, as a result, of the Christ?

Too much to hope for … *sigh*
