Today is Knife Day

Knife Day, Aug. 24.

The word knife does not appear in the NT.

It does appear in Abraham’s hand as he is ready to sacrifice his son of the promise (Gen. 22).

Lord, I am ready today to put to the knife anything that comes between you and me. I sacrifice all to you, for the more weighty glory of knowing you. Amen.
