People have all kinds of ideas about what constitutes the spiritual. Like this one:

Is it spiritual to take care of this planet? Open the New Testament and read differently. Spiritual is taking care of the soul’s eternal destiny. Mine and yours.

Yes, there is the stewardship principle in the Bible into which we may insert an ecological concern for the earth, but this is far from the meaning of spirituality.

I find it ironic that the concept of spiritual has been applied to this material, temporal earth.
